Patricia J. Sanchez

Patricia J. Sanchez, 79, died on June 19, 2024, at her residence in Chui Chu. She was born on May 30, 1945, to Magdalene Ventura and Samuel Miguel. 

Patricia dedicated her life to being a homemaker, finding joy in the company of her family and grandchildren. Her passion for cooking, playing cards, and the art of traditional basket weaving brought light and warmth to those around her. 

Patricia is survived by her children, Gail, Gilbert and Joe Sanchez. Her siblings Clarence, Verna, Selma and Diane Miguel 9 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren. Patricia is preceded by her parents and her husband, Robert "Rocky" Sanchez. Siblings, Elsie Mary Vavages, Jasper and Mark Miguel. 

An all-night wake will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the Sanchez family home at 7 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 4:30 a.m. at the West Chui Chu Cemetery within the Tohono O'odham Nation.
