Patsy Cruz

COCKLEBUR VILLAGE - Patsy C. Cruz, 69, of Coolidge died on April 2, 2015, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.

Visitation will be from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel near Casa Grande. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Mission in Cocklebur, with a wake continuing. Burial will be early Saturday in Cocklebur Cemetery.

Mrs. Cruz was born on Aug. 9, 1945, in Sacaton and was a daughter of John and Virginia (Manuel) Joaquin. She was a homemaker. She loved country music, and her favorite artists were Alan Jackson and George Strait. She was an animal lover, especially of Chihuahuas. She was devoted to her family.

Survivors include her husband, Gregorio S.; three daughters, Karen Joaquin of Casa Grande, Melissa and Judith Joaquin of Phoenix; a son, Benjamin Joaquin of Phoenix; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew A. and Cornelius Joaquin, and a sister, Pauline B. Garcia.
