Paul Michael Bernal

Paul Michael Bernal, 23, of South Komelik, died on October 1, 2023. He was born in Phoenix on April 9, 2000, to Tina M. Juan-Bernal and Ronald P. Bernal Jr. 

Paul had a deep passion for music, and his love for it was evident to anyone who knew him. With his beautiful smile and infectious energy, Paul was always the center of attention. He had a natural talent for entertaining others and brought joy to every gathering. His motto in life was "I'm here for a good time, not for a long time." 

Paul is survived by his parents and siblings: Melissa Thomas, Precious Bernal, Maryjane Bernal, and Ronald Bernal III. He is preceded in death by his sister Theresa Thomas. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 13, 2023, at J. Warren Funeral Services, The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande from 12-3 p.m. Following the visitation, an all-night wake will be held at the family residence in South Komelik. On Saturday, October 14, at 5:30 a.m., Paul will be laid to rest at the South Komelik Cemetery in Tohono O'odham Nation.
