Paul Monroe Dickey Jr., 88, of Casa Grande died on May 9, 2015, at The Villa in Mesa.
The celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Chaplain Nick Greenwalt officiating.
Mr. Dickey was born on Dec. 28, 1926, in Washington, D.C., and was a son of Marcella and Paul Dickey Sr. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Philippines and later worked for the Army as a communications engineer for 33 years. He liked prospecting for gold but never found any, and he also liked travel and natural healing. He was an avid UFO investigator for 40 years and a 32nd Degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Christine; two daughters, Marty Fuller of Iowa and Michelle West of Colorado; two sons, Walter Dickey of Maryland and Dustin Warner of Florida; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marcella Dickey.
