Paul G. Houle

CASA GRANDE - Paul G. Houle, 78, of Casa Grande died Feb. 18, 2017.

He was born in Two Harbors, Minnesota, on July 1, 1938, to Helen and Gerard Houle.

Mr. Houle will be remembered as a great husband and father. He was a veteran and a well-rounded man.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from March 1957 to July 1960.

He was known around the house and neighborhood as "Mr. Fix It." He was always building or fixing things and offering a lending hand to his neighbors. He coached his daughters' sports teams as they were growing up and later in life grew fond of golfing.

He will be remembered as an avid card player who loved to win.

He and his wife, Jean, travelled between their homes in Minnesota and Arizona. He was an active member of the community board for Lake Sullivan in Minnesota. He acquired many friends and neighbors across the country.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Denise Houle of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Laurie Houle of Boston, Massachusetts; a sister, Romayne Houle of St. Paul, Minnesota; and two half-siblings, Darlene "Dolly" Fulkert of Temperance, Minnesota, and Daniel Houle of Toledo, Ohio.
