CASA GRANDE - Paula Diane Tate, 54, died on March 2, 2018, in Tucson.
Mrs. Tate was born on Dec. 7, 1963, in Marietta, Georgia. She grew up and attended school in Scottsdale, where she met the love of her life, Dwight C. Tate Jr. The two were married in Bullhead City on Dec. 31, 1999. They had six beautiful children and were together for 31 years before Dwight died in 2011.
She lived and raised her children in Maricopa and Casa Grande. She worked as a homemaker taking care of her family. Her personality was described as one-of-a-kind, and she could light up any room she walked into. She enjoyed loving life and loving her family.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Freeman Mullins. She is survived by her mother, Esther Coffman of Scottsdale; four brothers, David, Joe and Jimmy Mullins of Phoenix and Ricky Mullins of Anaheim, California; a sister, Pat Kearns of Anaheim; three daughters, Danielle Knight, Cheryl and Jennifer Tate, all of Casa Grande; three sons, Dwight Tate of Mesa, William and Zachary Tate of Casa Grande; and four grandchildren.
Celebration of life beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 23, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
