AK-CHIN — Pauline Ann Vincent, 85, of Ak-Chin died on March 3, 2013, at home.
Rosary and wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Pauline Vincent home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Mission. Monsignor Ed Meulemans and Deacon William Demarco will officiate. Burial will be in Ak-Chin Cemetery.
Mrs. Vincent was born on Feb. 2, 1928, in Ak-Chin and was a daughter of Jose and Lanasia Antone. She worked as a cook and liked to sew, cook, clean, garden, spend time with her family and listen to gospel music. She was a Phoenix Suns fan and loved Steve Nash. She also liked going to casinos. She was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Mission.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Smith, Lemuel and Norman Vincent Jr., all of Ak-Chin; five daughters, Diane Rodriguez, Carole Lopez, Glennadean, Norma Jean and Roxanne Vincent, all of Ak-Chin; a sister, Evalina Lopez of Ak-Chin; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Vincent Sr.; two sons, Sylvester and Fernando Smith; four brothers, Francis, Willy, Felix and Gerard Antone; two sisters, Lucy Smith and Matilda Miguel; and three grandchildren, Olivia Machado, Renee and Leslie Vincent.
