Pedro Mendoza

Ramiro T. "Pedro" Mendoza, 74, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 6, 2012, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
A gathering will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 3. A scripture service will begin at 3:30 p.m., with Deacon Tino Tarango officiating. Friends and family will gather later at his home. Funeral Mass and burial will be March 14 in La Union, N.M.
Mr. Mendoza was born on Dec. 23, 1937, in La Union and was a son of Refugio and Jose Mendoza Sr. As the oldest of 14 children, he was dedicated to providing for his family and a hard worker. He moved to Arizona and married, continuing the trait of providing for his new family.
He loved family vacations and made it a priority to see the country. He was a friendly person who always said hello. He last worked at Hexcel Corp., retiring after 24 years. He frequently told of his experiences at work.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Teresa G.; a daughter, Christina Pacheco; six brothers, Alfredo, Armando, Mario, Pete, Arturo and Jose Mendoza Jr.; five sisters, Lupe Mendoza, Consuelo Eabassio, Leta Munoz, Lilly Gonzales and Lucy Gallardo; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Carlos Mendoza, and a sister, Christina Mendoza.
