Pedro Vasquez Hernandez

STANFIELD - Pedro Vasquez Hernandez, 62, of Stanfield died Dec. 26, 2008 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.


Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande, with rosary recited at 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Hernandez was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and was a son of Luis V. and Clara A. Hernandez. He was a mechanic for the Casa Grande Union High School District. He enjoyed being with his family, collecting model cars, dancing and Tejano music. He also enjoyed watching boxing and monster trucks.

Survivors include his wife, Connie M.; three sons, Pedro Hernandez Jr., Marcos A. Hernandez and Robert Cantua, all of Stanfield; three daughters, Olga Martinez of Casa Grande, Margarita Hernandez and Angelita Campa of Stanfield; a brother, Luis Hernandez Jr. of Maricopa; four sisters, Yolanda Maruffo of Fontana, Calif., Elida Ramirez of Riverside, Calif., Antonia Panduro and Monica Cano of Stanfield; and seven grandchildren.
