Pete Ramirez

Pete Raul Ramirez, 56, of Casa Grande died on May 22, 2012, at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at Glad Tidings Church. The celebration of life will follow at 10, with a gathering afterwards at the church.
Mr. Ramirez was born on Dec. 17, 1955, in Los Angeles to Carmen Tapia Ramirez and Manuel Pete Ramirez. He graduated from Casa Grande Union High School and worked for Rinker Materials in Sacaton. He worked the past seven years for Corrections Corporation of America in Eloy. He was devoted to his family and loved travel and keeping in touch with family and friends out of state. He was a good mechanic and loved working on all kinds of cars. He also was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife of nine years, Martha; a son, Pete R. Ramirez Jr. of Casa Grande; two stepchildren, Kenny and Desiree; his mother; six brothers, Jesse, Chris, Johnny, Tudy, Steve and Manuel; and three sisters, Margaret, Dolores and Lori, all of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Richard "Ricco" Ramirez.
