Peter Plotnick, 97, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 3, 2014, at home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral there will be at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Plotnick was born on June 15, 1917, in Waterbury, Connecticut, and was a son of Phillip Plotnick and Dominika Gavriliuk. He served in the Army during World War II and later was a Greyhound Bus driver. He was Presbyterian and was very active in the Dorothy Powell Senior Adult Center. He enjoyed painting, travel, music, western movies and loved taking portraits and playing euchre.
Survivors include two sons, Richard (Phyllis) Plotnick of Hemet, California, and Michael (Maxine)Plotnick of Potterville, Michigan; two daughters, Nancy A. (Charles) Pasch of Sun Lakes and Debra Plotnick of Casa Grande; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine; a son, Peter Plotnick Jr.; and a brother, Henry Plotnick.
