Peter Romeo

Peter Romeo, 85, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 13, 2012.
A private memorial service will be held later.
Mr. Romeo was born on Jan. 5, 1927, in Cleveland and was a son of Rosario and Rosina Romeo. He served in the Army during World War II and later was a truck driver and worked for a United Van Lines agent for more than 30 years. He was known for his sense of humor, practical jokes, going to horse racing tracks and his love of music and dancing.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Cherie; two daughters, Renee' A. Romeo of Casa Grande and Lisa R. Popp of Mentor, Ohio; two sons, Peter F. Romeo of Phoenix and Paul R. Romeo of Surprise; two sisters; two brothers; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Peter F. Romeo Jr.; a sister; and three brothers.
