Philip Bishai

CASA GRANDE - Philip Bishai, 97, died at home in Casa Grande on June 19, 2020.

A son of Sidrak and Zeitona, Mr. Bishai was born on Dec. 28, 1922, in Egypt, where he lived until immigrating to the United States in the 1970s. He moved to Mesa in 1984, where he lived for 32 years until moving to Casa Grande in 2016.

He worked in advertising and public relations until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed watching basketball, soccer and tennis, attending various church functions, volunteering at the YMCA and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alphonse and David. He is survived by a sister, Becky of Egypt; a brother, William of Canada; a son, Amir of Mesa; a daughter, Dalia of Casa Grande; and six grandchildren.
