Philip Louis Marrietta

SACATON - Philip Louis Marrietta, 66, of Sacaton died on March 13, 2019.

Mr. Marrietta was born on May 1, 1952, in Sacaton to Joseph Marrietta and Josephinie Cook. He served proudly in the Army and loved spending time with his family. He always had to have his favorite drink, Pepsi, in his hand.

He was very outgoing and enjoyed being outdoors, playing softball and bingo, and driving his four-wheel-drive truck.

Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Jackson; two sisters, Lavina and Merle Marrietta; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Marrietta, and four siblings, Donald, Mitchell, Priscilla and Myrtle Marrietta.

Funeral Mass celebrated by 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton by the Rev. Antony Tinker. Burial in Sacaton East Cemetery.
