Rachel A. Miguel

SELLS - Rachel A. Miguel, 66, of Phoenix died May 31, 2009 at Kindred Hospital.


The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sells. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 6 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Sells.

Mrs. Miguel was born in Sells and was a daughter of Ruben Smith Sr. and Lupe Pedro. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew; one son,Andrew Miguel Jr. and three daughters, Avis E. Blake, Matilda Miguel-Charles and Andrea Escardon of Phoenix; four brothers, Vincent Soatikee of Phoenix, Arnold, Otis and Oliver Smith, all of San Miguel; two sisters, Gwen and Genevieve Soatikee of Tucson; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
