SACATON — Raldon Lee Blackwater, 37, of Phoenix died on Sept. 19, 2010, at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Mission feast house in Sacaton. Funeral Mass will celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.
Mr. Blackwater was born on Jan. 1, 1973, in Phoenix. He was a carpenter and was Catholic. He enjoyed lifting weights, playing chess and listening to music. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching wrestling, boxing and football. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his children and granddaughter.
Survivors include two daughters, Me’Taja L. and Ruby L. Blackwater of Tucson; his parents, Majel C. Schurz of Phoenix and Lee Raldon Blackwater of Phoenix; his grandmother, Ernestine Blackwater of Sacaton; and a granddaughter.
