Ralph Land

ELOY - Ralph Land, 74, of Eloy died on Aug. 7, 2019, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mr. Land was born in Yuma on Feb. 28, 1945, to Knolic and Imogene Land, the third of four boys, including Larry, Leland and Chuck. 
Bard, California, was his childhood home. After graduation from San Pasqual School, he joined the Army and served for three years.

He later worked in construction for a few years and then decided on a career in farming in 1970. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and volunteering with the local 4-H club.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Ann; her five children, Aimee Merrell, Matthew Barrett, Ryan Barrett, Emilee Renteria and Elizabeth Barrett; her 23 grandchildren, whom he loved sharing; his son and daughter, Ralph Land II and Deeann Wainwright, whom he shared with former wife Carol Land; and four grandchildren.



Funeral at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. Burial at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, at Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at Marana.
