Ramon R. Torres

Ramon R. Torres, 67, of Casa Grande died Oct. 17, 2007 at home.


Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Torres was born April 29, 1940 in Martindale, Texas, and was a son of Vincente and Sara Torres. He worked for 47 years for Arizona Feeds and Eagle Milling Company in Casa Grande and was a shift foreman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the San Francisco 49ers and playing horseshoes.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa (Cardenas) Torres; two daughters, Paulina Chambers and Angie Valencia of Casa Grande; a son, Raymond Torres Jr. of Casa Grande; four sisters, Maria Hinojosa, Lupe Sainz, Josie Melendez and Maggie Torres, all of Casa Grande; a brother, Fidel Torres of Casa Grande; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
