Ramon S. Ramirez,

Ramon S. Ramirez Jr., 60, of Phoenix died Sept. 9, 2009, at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix.

The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Primera Iglesia Bautista, 305 E. Fourth St. in Casa Grande, with Pastor Leonardo Hernandez officiating.

Mr. Ramirez was born April 3, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a meter reader for the city of Phoenix. He enjoyed fishing, singing, planting and gardening. He also enjoyed woodworking, drawing, dancing, boxing and playing guitar.

Survivors include three daughters, Marina Instone of Gilbert, Claire L. and Quincy Ramirez of Denver; four sons, Johnny J. Ramirez of Maricopa, Alex Ramirez of Laveen, Gabrial and Adam E. Ramirez of Phoenix; his companion, Shannon Morales; four sisters, Betty and Sandy Ramirez, Mary Camarillo and Frances Burgess, all of Casa Grande; two brothers, George Ramirez of Kingman and Ronnie Ramirez of Casa Grande; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Petra and Ramon Ramirez Sr., and three brothers, Gilbert, Joseph and Gabriel Ramirez.
