Ramona Mitchell

CASA GRANDE - Ramona Lucille Mitchell, 89, died on Feb. 4, 2018, in Mesa.


Mrs. Mitchell was born on June 22, 1928, to Charlie W. Jones and Rebecca Barnard in Currituck, North Carolina. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.








She also enjoyed volunteering in the community and at Calvary Baptist Church, and her faith was important to her. She enjoyed music and traveling to new places and was an avid reader.


Survivors include two daughters, Carol R. Erwin of Chandler and Crystal L. Morgan of San Tan Valley; a son, Clifford D. Mitchell of Tucson; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H.; a son, Charles H. Mitchell Jr.; and seven brothers and sisters.








Visitation beginning at noon on Friday, Feb. 9, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with funeral at 1 and Pastor Gary Chicone officiating. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
