Ramona R. Martinez

Ramona R. Martinez, 55, of Casa Grande died on July 17, 2014, at home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Martinez was born on Nov. 30, 1958, in Phoenix. She was a casino housekeeper and attended the Universal Church in Casa Grande. She enjoyed listening to music and sitting outside on the porch talking, especially when it was raining. She loved rides with her family in the rain and the smell of the rain.

Her favorite thing was family Sunday dinners. She especially loved her grandchildren; they gave her the will to fight to live through her breast cancer.

Survivors include her husband, Domingo Martinez Sr.; two sons, John Rodriguez and Domingo Martinez Jr. of Casa Grande; Step son, Johnny Angel Martinez of Eloy; two daughters, Lisa Rascon and Minga Martinez of Casa Grande; Step Daughter, Debbie Contreras of Eloy; three brothers, Tony, Gilbert and Robert Rodriguez, all of Casa Grande; four sisters, Dominga Hinojosa, Julia Jimenez, Josie Mori and Juanita Villa, all of Casa Grande; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Angelita Rodriguez, and two brothers, Ruben and Raul Rodriguez.
