Raul Menesis Ibarra Sr. of Eloy, Arizona, passed away in Gilbert, Arizona on March 22, 2021.
Raul was born to Felipe and Eva Ibarra; he was one of 11 siblings. Raul grew up during the big farm days, when Eloy was known as the Cotton City. Raul left school to work with his Father and Brothers in the family business, he shared many memories with his children about his experiences. It should be noted that he loved working with his father. During those great years of working in the family business, he met the one and only true love of his life, Esther Espinoza. Raul and Esther would marry and spend 47 loving years together and have 4 children, sons Raul Ibarra Jr. (RIP), Ruben Ibarra, Isreal Ibarra and his daughter Olivia Street.
Raul was a farm hand, construction worker, and was involved in trucking. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who loved his family dearly. He was an avid fan of winning 1965 Santa Cruz Dust Devils, and a loyal Sun Devil fan.
Raul lived 68 long years, as a devoted servant of Christ, who was his passion in life.
Raul is survived by his wife Esther Ibarra, sons Ruben and Isreal Ibarra, his daughter Olivia Street, all of Eloy, Az. He is also survived by 6 siblings, Jamie Salazar of Toltec, Mary Cruz of Toltec, Horacio Ibarra of Picacho, Johnny Ibarra of Casa Grande, Oscar Ibarra of Mesa, Felipe Ibarra of New Mexico and Olga Ibarra of Casa Grande.
Preceded in death by parents Felipe and Eva Ibarra, son Raul Ibarra Jr. and Daughter-in-law Maria Ruiz Ibarra. Two brothers Joe and Paul Ibarra and his sister Naomi Ibarra.
