Raul Orlando Morales, 61, of Sacaton, died at home on April 19, 2022. He was born December 28, 1960, in Phoenix, Arizona to Raphael Raul Castillo-Morales, Sr. and Reylicia White. Raul was a hard-working man who loved his work, he could lay concrete in his sleep. He enjoyed being outdoors. He was a biker and loved riding. He rode horses and broke them as well. Raul was a fun-loving guy, who had a great sense of humor, he could always make you laugh. If Raul wanted to do something, nothing would stop him. He listened to rock and roll music, told stories, and loved to sing. He enjoyed cooking and always ate a jalapeno with every meal. Most of all he valued family and he loved spending time with his grandkids. No matter what, he always showed up for his kids. He was a loving and caring husband to his wife Anita for 22 years. He was very proud of his Akimel O’Odham heritage and loved to teach others about it and the language.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Ann, his children, Alexine, Dane, and Thunder Ray Morales, Victoria Thomas and TJ Riley Thomas, his siblings, Raphel “Rafa” Morales Jr., Lepizia Morales, Joy White, Mary Dean Morales, Trina Gomez, Tonya Cole, Merlinda Jacobs, Julie Morales, and Raphel Morales, and 9 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and his grandmother Lula Antone, who raised him.
