Ray Wells, 64, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 14, 2012, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God, with the funeral following at 1. The Rev. Danny Cox and the Rev. Ray Alvarez will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Wells was born on June 25, 1948, in Stigler, Okla., and was a son of Ben Wells and Amanda Kinser. He was a food service delivery driver and the church "Daddy" of More Than Conquerors Ministries. He enjoyed raising and collecting turtles, fishing and eating and was very friendly. He loved his dog, Bruno Ray Wells. His family, especially the children, was his passion.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Jo; a daughter, Carla R. Marquez of Casa Grande; a son, Keith "Hoss" Wells of Casa Grande; two brothers, Kenneth and Bill Wells of Casa Grande; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby J. and Leroy Wells, and three sisters, Ida Bell and Rosalie Wells and Lou Emmer Ayers.
Memorial contributions may be made to More Than Conquerors Ministries.
