Raymond Begay Sr.

Raymond Lee Begay Sr., 47, of Casa Grande died Dec. 18, 2008 at home.


Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Begay was born Jan. 14, 1961 in Sacaton. He served in the Navy and was an equipment operator. He loved the NFL, especially the Dallas Cowboys, the NBA and Disney movies.

Survivors include a son, Raymond L. Begay Jr. of California; three brothers, Ed Begay of Tempe, Robert Begay of Phoenix and Charles Begay of Saginaw, Mich.; two sisters, Tina Hylton of Ozark, Ala., and Loretta Dobbs of Dotham, Ala.; and his father, Elmer Begay of Sheep Springs, N.M. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine A. Begay, and two brothers, Howard and Anthony Begay.
