Raymond Loren Seidel

September 3, 1935 — August 12, 2016

CASA GRANDE -Raymond Loren Seidel , 80, of Casa Grande, Arizona, passed away August 12, 2016 at his home in Casa Grande, Arizona . He was born on September 3, 1935 in East Grand Rapids , Michigan to Charles and Ila (Watson ) Seidel .

Raymond is survived by:
Sharon (Shari) Ann Seidel (Wife); Casa Grande, AZ, Raymond (Kathy) Loren Seidel II (Son); Yorba Linda, CA, Roxanne Holmles (Daughter), WA, Tracy (Beloved Dog) and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by:
Charles Seidel (Father), Ila Seidel (Mother), and Brock Holmes (Grandson).
Raymond was very proud of being a Marine, serving during the Korean Conflict and earning a Good Conduct Medal in 1957. He retired from Bonneville Power in the late 90's and has enjoyed every minute of his life ever since. He could be found in his RV with his beloved dog, Cassie. He enjoyed the time he spent as a winter visitor at Sundance RV Park, where he met his beloved Sharon at the pool. His love for dominoes led him to the park on Thursdays and Sundays. He enjoyed reading history and military books, especially about World War I and World War II. In his younger years he was a car racer for fun, building a roadster but not racing it. He had a need for speed. His '98 Ford Ranger is quite the eye catcher. Raymond's health rapidly declined in the summer of 2016. He returned to his Lord on August 12, 2016.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Raymond will be placed at the Arizona Memorial Cemetery in Marana.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
