Rebecca Ruiz

Rebecca Ruiz, 61 of Ak-Chin Indian Community, Maricopa, Arizona, passed away on February 27, 2025 with her loving & beautiful family surrounding her. A hardworking, dedicated wife, mother and nana is survived by her husband of 43 years Guillermo Ruiz, loving daughters Monica & Valerie Ruiz and her beloved grandson Adrian Ruiz (Rey Rey). Also survived by her dear sisters (Irene Arredando, Sylvia Gutierrez, Maria Hernandez, & Gloria Alejandro). She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Celia Alejandro, her sister Sally Gallegos and her brother Pablo Alejandro.

Rebecca was known and will always be remembered for the loving and caring soul she carried. She was truly a light to anyone and everyone she crossed paths with. Her ability to not only love others but to make them feel seen, heard and cared for will be truly missed. Her life motto to her kids were “always leave people better then you found them.” That is something we will continue to honor. Her home was always filled with love, laughter and food. She enjoyed her home full of those she loved. Even in our sorrows and the depths of our pain we ill continue to honor her beautiful life and continue everyday for her with the love, lessons and values she instilled in us.
