Revies Joseph "Camel" Braxton

PHOENIX - Revies Joseph "Camel" Braxton, 69, of Phoenix died on April 28, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley.

Mr. Braxton was born on June 7, 1946, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Clinton and Addie Braxton. He enjoyed drinking coffee and watching basketball. He loved teasing all of his family members and spending time with them.

Survivors include his wife, Evalena; two daughters, Shamell Braxton of Eloy and LaReese Braxton-Green of Apache Junction; three brothers, Chester Braxton of Moreno Valley, California, Joel E. and Clinton Braxton Jr. of Phoenix; and two sisters, Helen Braxton of Phoenix and Rosie Braxton of Eloy. He was preceded in death by two sons, Revies Braxton Jr. and Mavis Braxton; six sisters, Geneva Tindel, Grace Braxton, Katherine Loggins, Mildred Byrd, Louise Johnson and Amanda Braxton; and a brother, Clevin Braxton.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Fountains of Living Water Church in Casa Grande. The service will follow at 11. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
