ELOY — Reynalda Urias Lujan, 87, of Eloy died on June 7, 2013, at her son’s home.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 10 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lujan was born on Oct. 7, 1925, in Imperial, Texas, and was a daughter of Marcelo and Manuela Urias. She was a homemaker and loved to sew, garden, do puzzles and have family get-togethers and Sunday meals. She was devoted to her family, took care of her grandchildren and was happiest when her family visited.
She never complained. She loved birds and raised pigeons and also liked to read, especially the Twilight Saga books.
Survivors include four daughters, Rachel Lujan and Gloria Flores of Casa Grande, Yolanda Santana of Yuma and Guadalupe Lujan of Eloy; six sons, Armando, Efren, Manuel Lujan, all of Casa Grande, Jaime Lujan of Arizona City, Federico Lujan III of Eloy and Marcelo Lujan of Tucson; four sisters, Pilar Urias of California, Concha Urias of Eloy, Cecilia Hernandez of Phoenix and Alma Urias of Tucson; three brothers, Pete Urias of Phoenix, Isemal Urias of Maricopa and Marcelo Urias of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico; 33 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Federico Lujan Jr., 10 years ago; a son, Daniel Lujan; two daughters, Olivia and Olga Lujan; a brother, Edward Urias; and a grandson, Freddy Lujan IV.
