Rhonda Elaine Boales

October 30, 1953 — August 31, 2022

Rhonda Boales passed away peacefully on

August 31, 2022 at Banner Hospital with her

family at her side. Rhonda was born

October 30, 1953 and was raised in Casa

Grande by her parents, Earl Stevens and

Patricia Spencer she had 2 siblings, Danny

and Donna.


Shortly after graduating high school Rhonda

attended Northern Arizona University where

she met her former husband, Steve

Anderson. She had two children, Christopher

and Amv Jo Anderson.

She and Steve were divorced about ten ears later. Raising two

children was not easy especially working two jobs and going to back to

school. She was working at the Arches as a waitress when a young

man, Jerry Boales, asked her to dance. After a few months of dating

they were married and moved to Tucson.


Rhonda continued to go to school at the University of Arizona and

worked part time as a substitute teacher in Tucson. Rhonda and her

husband moved back to Casa Grande three years later.


Rhonda was very hard worker, and eventually received her Master's

degree in Special Education, She loved her work and the people she

worked with and was always willing to help anyone if she could.

Even after retirement Rhonda kept working part time helping Dis-

advantage children.


Rhonda is survived by her husband Jerry Boales, son Christopher

Anderson, Step-son Jerry Boales Jr., and Stepdaughters, Laura

Heistuman and Karen Boales. She was preceded in death by her father

Earl Stevens, daughter Amy Jo Anderson and brother, Danny Stevens.


A Celebration of Life will be held October 15, 2022 at 10am at the Church

of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 787 E Kortsen Rd in Casa Grande,

Casual dress attire recommended. In lieu of flowers please send donation

to the Arizona Humane Society in Casa Grande.
