Ricardo Armondo Lewis, aged 34, of Sacaton, Arizona, passed away on November 27, 2024. He was born in Phoenix on February 1, 1990, to Felicia Vavages.
Ricardo will be remembered for his loving and caring nature, as he always endeavored to be a good uncle and a devoted father to his son, Ricardo Lewis. An artist at heart, he had a passion for drawing and expressed himself creatively through his artwork. He enjoyed listening to heavy metal music and was an enthusiastic gamer who cherished the time spent engaging in video games with friends.
Ricardo was known for his great sense of humor and ability to connect with others through meaningful conversations. In addition to his artistic pursuits, he was an avid boxer. Despite the challenges he faced with mental health, he lived a clean and sober life, exemplifying strength and resilience.
He is survived by his son, Ricardo Lewis; his mother, Felicia Vavages; and his two brothers, Johnathan and Lawrence Vavages. He was preceded in death by his brother, Simpson Harvier.
A wake in honor of Ricardo will be held on Friday, December 13th, at 6 PM at the District 3 Service Center in Sacaton. Graveside services will take place the following morning at 9 AM at the Upper Santan Presbyterian Cemetery.
