CASA GRANDE - Richard Adrian Marinez, 50, of Casa Grande died on July 22, 2018.
Mr. Marinez was born on Oct. 16, 1967, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Guillermo and Lydia Marinez. He graduated from high school and attended Cochise College. He worked as a hod carrier/mason for many years and was Catholic.
He had been a resident of Phoenix and Tucson. He enjoyed poetry and songwriting. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and auto mechanics. He loved to tend and care for people in need and was a very kindhearted person. He was devoted to his family.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Marinez, and a brother, William Marinez, and is survived by two daughters, Melissa Marinez of Bakersfield, California, and Breanna Garcia-Marinez of San Bernardino, California; two sons, Kurtis Marinez and Aaron Marinez of Sells; his parents, of Casa Grande; a sister, Cheryl Fox of Bakersfield; and two brothers, Kurtis J. Marinez of Kansas City, Missouri, and John Marinez of Vancouver, Washington.
Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 27, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Memorial Mass celebrated at 10 by the Rev. Ariel Lustan.
