Richard D. Haygood

Richard Haygood, 73, of Casa Grande died May 30, 2007 at Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande. The funeral will follow at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Haygood was born June 21, 1933 in Okmulgee, Okla., and was a son of Marion and Vera (Williams) Haygood. He was a purchasing agent.

Survivors include his wife, Verta; three daughters, Ellen and Cynthia Haygood of Phoenix and Alicia Haley of Avondale; three sons, Eddie Tyler and Darnell Haygood of Casa Grande and Raymond Wright of Apple Valley, Calif.; a sister, Elnora Mims of Phoenix; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Wilbert L. Tyler and Richard D. Haygood Jr.; a daughter, Gloria Haygood; and four brothers, Frank, Chester, Junior and Marion Haygood.
