Richard Earl Johnson, 76, of Casa Grande, Arizona passed away peacefully January 19, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Esther Johnson. Beloved husband of Barbara Johnson, devoted father of Stephen Johnson of Casa Grande, Arizona and Kimberley Johnson Redd of Aurora, Illinois. Dear brother of Don Johnson of Texas and Jerry Johnson of Ohio. Cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was an educator in the Rockford Public Schools for 30+ years. A service will be held on Saturday February 22, 2020. Wake will begin at 2pm, Service 4pm, and extended wake 5-7pm at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, Illinois, 60540.
