Richard Lewis

SACATON - Richard Lewis, 62, of Sacaton died on May 12, 2018.

Mr. Lewis was born on April 30, 1956, in Phoenix to Edward T. Lewis Sr. and Lena Nadine Allison, both of the Gila River Indian Community. He worked for Gila River District 2 for six years and loved spending time with his family, motorcycles (especially his) and working on cars in his spare time.

He enjoyed cooking and being outside feeding the birds. He was always happy and joking around and made people laugh.

He is survived by his significant other of 22 years, Sandra Walters, and a sister, Edwardine Dowling of Sacaton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edward Lewis Jr. and Jonathan Lewis.

Graveside service at 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, in Jones Cemetery.
