Richard Mendoza

Richard F. Mendoza, 59, of Casa Grande died on Aug. 29, 2011, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Felix Rodriguez officiating.
Mr. Mendoza was born on Dec. 30, 1951, in San Fernando, Calif. He was a dedicated store manager for AutoZone for 23 years. He enjoyed playing video games and working on building projects around the house. He loved camping, fishing and riding ATVs but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra L.; five sons, John Ballesteros of Los Angeles, Steve Ballesteros of Columbus, Ga., Ambrose and Adam Mendoza of Louisville, Ky., and Jeffrey Mendoza of Casa Grande; four brothers; five sisters; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Mendoza and Beatrice Flores, and a son, Jeremy P. Mendoza.
