Richard O. Chacon

CASA GRANDE - Richard O. Chacon, 62, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 23, 2016, at home.

Mr. Chacon was born on April 10, 1954, in Brawley, California, and was a son of Abel Chacon Sr. and Flora Ornelas Campos. A licensed cosmetologist, he was a salesman for a beauty supply company for 10 years in the Palm Springs, California, area and formerly lived in Cathedral City. He was named Employee of the Year. He enjoyed watching old western movies, NFL and college football, going to casinos and spending time with his family.

Survivors include three brothers, Abel Chacon Jr. of Grants Pass, Oregon, Steve Campos of Casa Grande and Dean Campos of Arizona City, and six sisters, Theresa Hernandez of Casa Grande, Diane Rodriguez of Eloy, Velia Smith of Sacramento, California, Sally Ruiz of Arizona City, Mary Helen Gonzalez of Eloy and Arlene Juarez of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel. Graveside service at 11 in Mountain View Cemetery.
