SACATON — Richard “Paco” Zepeda, 59, of Sacaton died on April 4, 2010 at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Zepeda home. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Saturday in East Sacaton Cemetery, with the Rev. Cyrus Johnson officiating.
Mr. Zepeda was born on May 7, 1950 in Sacaton. He served in the Marine Corps for four years and later worked as a laborer. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing and camping.
Survivors include three stepdaughters, Joanne Pratt, Jolene Lopez and Connie Lucio, all of Sacaton; three stepsons, James and Reynold Pratt of Sacaton and Matt Jockel of Milwaukee; his father, Armando Zepeda Sr. of Santa Rosa; three sisters, Virginia Zabawa and Lori Allen of Maricopa and Amelia Zepeda of Randolph; four brothers, Armando Zepeda Jr. of Ak-Chin, Ruben Zepeda of Worley, Idaho, Victor Zepeda of ChuiChu and Roy Zepeda of Stanfield; 28 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Angelina Zepeda; his wife, Alberta Jackson; two brothers, Danny and Abel Zepeda; and a sister, Marianna Baptisto.
