Richard "Ricky" Dennis Vega

BAPCHULE - Richard Dennis "Ricky" Vega, 58, of Bapchule died on Sept. 24, 2017, in Glendale.
Mr. Vega was born on April 18, 1959, in Sacaton to Carlos Vega and Mida Paul. He enjoyed playing baseball in his youth and riding his bicycle. His love of riding his bike carried him through the rest of his life. He looked forward to his rides and wondered how long he would get to ride that day. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Diamond, at the family cabin outside of Payson.
He was a very compassionate person who put others' needs ahead of his own. He was heavily involved in a mission street ministry and was a primary missions contact.
He is survived by a son, Richard Brown; two daughters, Lethe R. Apodaca-Otero and Davonna Allison; his companion, Sandy Logan; three brothers, Ronnie, John and Carlos Vega; a sister, Pamela Vega; and six grandchildren.
Visitation from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at the District 5 Multipurpose Building. Funeral at 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Casa Blanca Baptist Church. Burial in Mesquite Cemetery in Santan.
