Richard Schell

VALLEY FARMS — Richard L. Schell, 66, of Valley Farms died on March 19, 2012, in Casa Grande.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel, with Dr. Sylvester Ajagbe officiating.
Mr. Schell was born on Jan. 6, 1946, in Florence and was a son of Joe and Lucille Schell. He was a cattleman and building contractor and a hard worker. He was generous, compassionate and always busy, working or spending time with his children, grandchildren or neighbors. He was very helpful and always willing to give someone a job if needed.
He was community minded and a member of the Pinal County Sheriff's Posse. He was a 4-H and FFA leader for several years and won many trophies and ribbons at horse shows and roping.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; two sons, Richard J.T. Schell of Florence and Ronnie E. Schell of Valley Farms; a daughter, Tanya M. Schell of Valley Farms; a brother, Doug H. Schell of Las Vegas, Nev.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Schell, and a grandchild.
