Richard A. Talbert II

April 13, 1983 — November 16, 2024

Maricopa, Arizona

Richard A. Talbert II, born on April 13, 1983 in Columbus, Ohio, embarked on his journey through life with a spirit that was both bright and infectious. With unyielding dedication, he made his mark on the world a vivid testament to the joy and laughter that one person can radiate.

Tragically, Richard left us on November 16, 2024, in Maricopa, Arizona, leaving behind cherished memories and a community forever touched by his warmth. As a devoted husband to Natricia L. Talbert, and a loving father to Kiyuana, Treshawn, and Markus Talbert, Richard embraced his family with a tenderness that was palpable. He was also a beloved son to Richard and Kathy Talbert, and a cherished brother to Skira Woods, Tim Woods, Starla Hanks, and Rickelle Talbert. His bonds extended beyond immediate family, including James and Rhesa Green, Larry and Nolita Squires as his dedicated in-laws, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who adored him.

Richard's life was a multitude of colors, painted by his passions and hobbies. He found joy in collecting baseball caps and enjoyed the thrill of riding motorcycles. Gardening brought him peace, while BBQ cooking became a medium through which he expressed his creativity. An aficionado of gaming and music, Richard had a voice that could fill a room, offering sweet melodies that entranced everyone around him.

In his most profound moments, Richard wore his faith as a badge of honor, having accepted the Lord as his savior early in life. His legacy of faith was further cemented as a member of Blaze Christian Ministry, actively participating in the praise team and spreading love through worship.

Though his journey has concluded, Richard's impact remains interwoven with the lives of those he left behind. He is survived by the joyous echoes of laughter he sparked among friends and family, eternally enriching their spirits as he entertained and uplifted them.

As we gather to celebrate Richard's life on November 25, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Casa Grande - Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, Arizona, we will remind one another of the profound beauty contained in shared moments, laughter, and love—a reflection of Richard A. Talbert II, who filled our lives with his radiant light.

Richard now takes his place among the stars, forever missed, yet never forgotten. He joins his dearly departed son, Donavan Talbert, alongside cherished grandparents, George Talbert, Patricia Talbert, Jessie Nichols, Eugene Goudy, and Carl Nichols. Their reunion brings comfort and solace, echoing Richard’s enduring spirit through the generations.
