Rick Henry Diaz

ELOY - Rick Henry Diaz, 56, of Eloy died on June 3, 2020.

Mr. Diaz was born on Jan. 5, 1964, in Eloy and was a son of Jose De Leon and Betty Diaz. He was a Christian man and would pray for everyone and always give an encouraging word. He attended San Jose State University and worked 16 years as a union journeyman carpenter. He also built several homes on his own in Royal Oaks, California.

He enjoyed fishing, bike riding and inventing tools that made his job a little easier. Most of all he loved taking his kids out riding and buying them all the sweets that he liked to eat.

Survivors include two daughters and a son, Yanina Salazar, Mariah Paula Diaz and Isaiah Joshua Henry Diaz; nine siblings, John, Joe, Frank and Eleanor Federico, Glore Garcia, Joe, Laura, Cecilia and Margaret Castorena; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Eloysa Federico-Perales.
