Robert "Bob" Erdmann

CASA GRANDE - Robert "Bob" Dawson Erdmann, 73, died on April 4, 2017.
Mr. Erdmann was born on Dec. 14, 1943, grew up in Casa Grande and graduated from Casa Grande Union High School. He lived his life to the fullest in Tempe, where he attended Arizona State University, received a bachelor's degree in sociology and raised a family.

He was known for his sense of humor and would draw a crowd with his love of people and his laughter. He was very fond of the arts and grew to love oil painting and creating portraits on canvas. He was called "Pa" by his daughter and called her "Dolly."

He was preceded in death by his biological father, Robert Dawson, and his adopted father, William Erdmann. Survivors include his mother, Helen Erdmann; a sister, Sally Ochoa; Judy and his daughter, Jennifer Erdmann Steadman; and a grandson.

Graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, in Mountain View Cemetery.
