Robert "Bob" John Delva

Robert John Delva Jr., "Bob", 68, of Casa Grande, AZ passed away on August 17, 2017. He was born on August 17, 1949 in San Francisco, CA to Robert Delva and Estelle White. Bob, a Vietnam veteran, served in the United States Air Force for seven years and was stationed in the Philippines as a jet mechanic. He was very proud of his time in the service. Bob made his hobby of working on computers into a career. He worked high tech security for Lockheed in Silicone Valley, CA where he eventually retired. At one point in his life he wrote computer programs for IBM.
Later, he worked as a computer specialist for AAA in Aurora, CO. He was an avid computer game and gun enthusiast. Bob also enjoyed long-distance bike riding and fixing just about anything. He was a quiet man who enjoyed solitude. Bob will be missed very much.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Patricia and brother in- law Roger Mann, Kathryn Simpson and Christine Gaston; and his nieces and nephew, Kim Hutcheon, Carrie Comstock, Jason Brandt and Alicia Ohlsson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, David Delva; brothers-in-law, Michael Simpson and Danny Gaston; and nephews, James and Phillip Gaston.
