Robert "Bob" Lawrence Lavoie

MARICOPA - Robert Lawrence "Bob" LaVoie, 62, of Maricopa died at home on June 1, 2017.

Mr. LaVoie was born on Dec. 22, 1954, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, to John R. and Norma L. Hesselgren LaVoie. Some of his passions were camping, fishing and the San Francisco 49ers. He also loved all types of motor sports racing. His favorite driver was Tony Stewart, No. 20.

He was known for his genuine love and excitement about life and was very giving and uplifting. He was willing to share whatever he had with someone less fortunate.

He is survived by two daughters and a son, Heidi LaVoie, Heath LaVoie and Heather Howland, and three brothers, Tom, Gary and Dana LaVoie.

An intimate memorial service was held by close friends and family in Phoenix on Saturday, June 17.
