Robert "Bob" Monson

Robert A. "Bob" Monson, 72, a longtime Casa Grande businessman, died on Dec. 22, 2013.

The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with the Rev. Raymond Wilson officiating.

Mr. Monson was born on Sept. 18, 1941, in Port Angeles, Wash., and was a son of Fred W. and Esther C. Monson. He was a self-employed businessman who owned franchises of KFC, Long John Silver’s and Taco Bell. He was known for his kind, warmhearted, generous and giving spirit as well as his sense of humor.

Survivors include four daughters, Laura Monson of Peoria, Tanya Rushing and Tricia Monson of Phoenix and Christi Burke of Casa Grande; a sister, Betty Brayton of Casa Grande; and seven grandchildren.
