Robert Edwin Cecil

CASA GRANDE - Robert Edwin Cecil, 87, died on April 14, 2018, in Casa Grande.

Mr. Cecil was born on June 18, 1930, to Edwin (Price) and Hazel E. (Collins) Cecil in Cumberland, Maryland. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He also enjoyed playing musical instruments and playing in his church band. He operated heavy equipment and also was a commercial truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son and daughter, Ron Cecil of Arizona City and Cyndie Wilkins-Wiles of Casa Grande; two siblings, Donald L. Cecil of Arizona City and Juanita V. Moser of Canyonville, Oregon; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta; two brothers, Jerry and Eugene Cecil; and a sister, Carol Hannigan.

Graveside service at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, in Eden (Arizona) Cemetery. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, at Desert Sky Baptist Church in Casa Grande.
