Robert Matzinger

Robert Earl Matzinger, 78, of Casa Grande, died on October 26, 2021.
Robert was born on May 28, 1943 in Phoenix to John & Josephine Matzinger.
He graduated from Central High School in Phoenix.
In 1964, Robert married Stella Kehias. Together they have two children.
Robert and his wife owned Little Sombrero Restaurant in Casa Grande since the 1970’s.
Robert is described as an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting. He liked watching sports such as NASCAR, IndyCar, and was an Arizona Diamondbacks fan. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. His family describes him as a mischievous jokester. He was known for being straight-forward; he told it like it is. No sugarcoating. Most of all, he was a great husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his brother John Matzinger.
Robert was survived by his wife of 57 years, Stella Matzinger of Casa Grande; by his son Robert T. Matzinger (Rebecca) of Casa Grande; by his daughter Stacey Matzinger of Casa Grande; and by his grandson and his wife, Joseph & Carolyn Matzinger.
