Robert Roland "Bobby" Ruiz

CASA GRANDE - Robert Roland "Bobby" Ruiz Sr., 54, died on Aug. 28, 2017, in Phoenix.
Mr. Ruiz was born on Jan. 24, 1963, in Phoenix to Enriquez C. and Linda E. Chavez Ruiz. He attended the University of Arizona, where he studied civil engineering.
He really enjoyed spending his time outdoors, and fishing and camping were two of his favorite activities. He loved watching movies when he was not found building items out of wood and metal. He was very mechanically inclined and took great pride in his ability to restore cars for shows. His greatest love was spending quality time with family and friends.
He is survived by a son, Robert Ruiz Jr.; his wife, Felicita Garcia; his father; three stepchildren, Christina Lopez, Amanda Garcia and Victor Garcia; three sisters, Sandra Alderete, Dennise and Kimberly Ruiz; two brothers, Joe and Jason Ruiz; two grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Rick Ruiz; and two sisters, Debbie Ruiz and Lisa Roles.
Memorial service at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
