Robert Stephen Coxon

CASA GRANDE - Robert Stephen Coxon, 65, of Casa Grande died on April 20, 2016, at home, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Coxon was born on April 8, 1951, in Casa Grande to Nathan and Dorothea Coxon. He was a lifelong resident of Arizona and enjoyed the mountains. His passion was prospecting and mineral collecting, and he won a national trophy with his mineral collection in 1967.

He was self-employed for 45 years dealing in turquoise jewelry and Native American art. He loved spending time with his family, and his grandchildren were the highlight of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Nowlin Coxon; a son, Chris Coxon of San Antonio, Texas; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Blaine and Shea Coxon.
